Traceable claims

Sources & Method

A compact trail to the sources used for this site's factual, theological, pastoral, and artwork notes.

We prefer the biblical text itself, official Armenian Church material for Armenian teaching, ancient texts for what ancient authors actually say, museum records for artworks, and academic or institutional sources for disputed history. A source can support a limited claim without endorsing every conclusion on this site.

What a citation does—and does not—mean

A link identifies the evidence behind a particular statement. It does not turn a devotional site into neutral scholarship, and it does not imply that the source organization endorses Thanks to Jesus. The Editorial Policy explains how differing kinds of claims are presented.
