Accountability and care
Editorial Policy
How this independent site separates quotation, history, Church teaching, and devotional reflection.
Who is speaking
Thanks to Jesus is an independent editorial project written from an Armenian Apostolic Christian perspective. It is not an official publication of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, a diocese, or a parish, and no Church body is represented as endorsing it.
How claims are labeled
- Scripture quotations reproduce the site's named Revised Standard Version text and are labeled (RSV).
- Armenian Apostolic teaching is checked against official Mother See or diocesan material whenever a suitable public source exists.
- Historical claims distinguish broad scholarly agreement, what an ancient source reports, matters historians debate, and confessions of faith.
- Devotional applications are invitations to reflection, not the only possible meaning of a passage and not a substitute for reading its full context.
Direct sources and the site's research method are collected on the Sources & Method and Scripture Sources pages. Factual material was last comprehensively reviewed on .
Pastoral boundaries and safety
This site offers general Christian education and reflection. It is not monitored pastoral care, medical or mental-health treatment, legal advice, or emergency support. Forgiveness never requires staying in danger, restoring access or trust, concealing abuse, or abandoning accountability. Prayer can accompany qualified professional care.
If someone may be in immediate danger
Contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. If abuse may be involved, seek a qualified local service that can help with safety planning.
Privacy and messages
The current static package does not transmit or monitor visitor messages or prayer requests, and its private prayer prompt does not intentionally persist entered text. The text exists in the open page until it is cleared or the page is left; browser, keyboard, extension, device, or hosting features outside this site's code may retain other records. Visitors should not enter sensitive personal information. No analytics, advertising pixels, user accounts, or marketing forms are included in this package.
Artwork and illustrations
Historical artworks are identified as artworks, not eyewitness portraits. The site's own illustrations — the Armenian manuscript-tradition pieces and the symbolic scenes alike — were digitally generated using AI image tools at the publisher's direction and are labeled in their captions as digitally generated illustrations; they are devotional and decorative art, not archaeological reconstructions or claims about a person's exact appearance. A provenance record naming the tool, date, and commissioning brief is retained for every image file, and no image imitates a living artist's style or a specific person's likeness.
Corrections
Claims should be corrected transparently when better evidence is found. Revision records are currently maintained with the project files rather than published as a visitor-facing changelog. This release does not yet publish a monitored corrections address, so it does not invite private submissions. A working corrections route and the responsible publisher's public identity should be added before any message-collection feature is enabled.
